Repacorp, Inc Acquires Aladdin Label, Inc
Tipp City, Ohio January 11, 2011 -- Repacorp, Inc. announces it has
acquired the assets of Aladdin Label, Inc. in Waukesha, Wisconsin on
December 30, 2010.
Richard and Gale Schwartz, former owners of Aladdin Label, Inc. explain the reason they picked Repacorp; We choose Repacorp to acquire our business because we liked the family atmosphere Repacorp brought to the table. Repacorp is also involved with new technologies like digital printing and RFID. By adding these new technologies to Aladdin, it would give Aladdins employees and company new growth, points out Richard Schwartz. Repacorp has had a presence in Wisconsin since 1999, added Gayle Schwartz. We like that Repacorp will keep the majority of the employees in Wisconsin.
Aladdin Label, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Richard and Gale Schwartz and
evolved from a one-press operation to two plants with multiple presses
and a full packaging line, totaling 50,000 plus square feet. For 38
years, Aladdin has been training their employees to be the best at their
professions, resulting in Aladdin Label’s very high quality label
products. “Aladdin’s quality product attracted Repacorp to this
acquisition,” commented Rick Heinl, President of Repacorp, Inc. “Aladdin
has a great customer base with no over lapping of Repacorp’s customers,
and Aladdin has many new product lines in which Repacorp is not
currently involved,” continues Heinl.
Aladdin Label will continue to operate as Aladdin Label and Repacorp
looks forward to tying their synergies together to make Repacorp an even
stronger company.

The revolution in digital flexography technology is here!
Aladdin Label is a flexographic printer with a large variety of printed pieces that are often said to push the printing envelope. Many of their pieces are placed inside with food, or on retail food packages as coupons, recipes, and other promotional pieces. Most recently, Aladdin acquired an account with a major greeting card company to print foil, white stock, prismatic, and scratch-and-sniff stickers. This prompted Aladdin to create an environmentally sound platemaking facility (dust-free, temperature, humidity, and static controlled).
The new system involved placing a Barco-Graphics platemaker and a Dupont Cyrel FAST dry plate processor into Aladdins clean room. Aladdin has found it's print quality improved, which is a tremendous benefit for their customer's sales. Aladdin is now able to print down to a 1% dot, whereas they could not go below a 4% dot with the old system. 99% of all flexo printers use the old system.
